Keith, open the hood of your vehicle locate the coolant reservoir (link below will show picture of reservoir) normally mounted on rad cradle or inner fender well, look at markings on translucent area of reservoir to determine level of coolant. If coolant shows low or empty, when engine is cool remove reservoir cap and add specified coolant till at a acceptable level. If you had to add a lot of coolant to get it to correct level, you may have a leak, in this case it may be wise to have a good technician have a look and pressure test cooling system, diagnose and estimate repair if required. Note: I would suggest checking the coolant container before adding, to see if the MB coolant is premixed (diluted); if it's not premixed, add a 50-50 mix of concentrated coolant and distilled water.
