Why will my nuvi 2455LMT not detect a GPS signal?
My device will turn on, but it will not detect a GPS signal.

- The most common cause of signal failure is the environment around the GPS
- Make sure you are not in a parking garage, surrounded by trees or overhangs and at a standstill when the Garmin GPS is turned on.
- The longest amount of time it takes the GPS to acquire a signal is 5 minutes. These instances occur when you travel more than 500 miles with the GPS turned off or if you are indoors.
