LED vs Plastic cover, which one?
I cracked the display of my Digiland 718M tablet. When I run my fingers over it, its still completely smooth so I think maybe its the LED underneath that is cracked and not the plastic cover.
Is there any real way to know? (here is a pic http://imgur.com/a/iqLM1 )

Did you find out how to fix it and what's wrong mines the same way but I can still see my screen it's just unresponsive

can you see a normal picture /display if you turn it on? if you see lines and what looks like black blotches you need a LCD. if the image is good then only digitizer will do
