How to replace disk drive in iMac G4?
disk drive is removed. I have a disk drive from a powerbook G4. is it possible to mount that in the iMac G4?

Here is a link to a guide to help you with your drive replacement. As to compatibility early G4 powerbooks used the same drive as your imac (ATA 66) while later PB G4's used ATA 100. If the early one it should work--if the later it may work. Good luck.
