Buzzing pick ups in my gibson SG

Is there a quick fix to stopping the buzzing in my seymour duncan pickups?

@jakoby what pickups are you using? How far are you from your amp and does it make a difference? Have you tried bringing the gain down? Does the buzzing increse or decrease if you touch the strings or other metal?

Don, could be a grounding issue on pickups, try a couple other known good cords first to rule bad cord out. You or a Guitar tech. may have to do some disassembly and check the grounds and shielding. You can also google search your buzzing pickups as there is lots of useful info. on this.

Is there a light dimmer somewhere in your house that is partially on? Or full on sometimes causes this problem. Try turning all dimmers off, if you have them. My pedal steel is very sensitive to this problem.
