The metal pin from the power cord broke-off in the female plug

The metal pin from the power cord broke-off in the female plug and when I plug it in it causes a spark. I need to remove the female mechanism to try and push it out from the rear of the mechanism

The part it's in is called the DC IN port. Once this is removed the center bracket on the back of the unit can sometimes be pulled slightly out and the tip removed. If this cannot be done, it's a fairly simple procedure to replace it.
