Missing model number/serial number

For top loader-the model/serial number may be found in the following places:

1 under lid, near the right hinge

2 exterior,on the back of the control panel

3 exterior front,bottom left corner

4 exterior back, near the water inlets

Inside the back of the machine there should be a wiring diagram. Check that. OR Get the part number from the timer, (Paper tag on timer) cross reference that.

1. Check Common Locations – Manufacturers usually place tags/stickers in standard spots:
   • Inside the door or lid frame
   • Behind the appliance (back panel)
   • On the side wall near the bottom
   • Behind the control panel or kick plate
   • For washers/dryers: around the drum opening or under the lid

6. Use the Part Number – If you find a part number on any removable piece (filter, hose, control board), service centers can often trace it back to the exact model.
7. Don’t Guess for Repairs – Never order parts without confirming the model/serial, since even small variations between models can change compatibility.
