Why is my Nuvi taking 5 minutes to calculate my route?

The device is taking a long time to calculate my route. Up to 15 minutes to calculate a simple journey.

Software has been updated recently but has not solved the problem.

Had an issue with the unit not charging, but left it on charge for a few days and it came good.
