I suspect the rubber on the rollers are worn out so they can no longer grip the paper.
You can spray this on the rubber and it will work again.

Solution is not to buy a printer with Canon on it. Replacing rollers is more practicle but these are disposible printers so not made for replacing parts only the garbage bag in the can.
