A washer series by Maytag with a low rate of customer satisfaction and a high rate of failure. These washers have the model numbers MVWB300xxx or MVWX300xxx.

After watching the video, I thought why not try it, what do I have to lose? When I tried to tighten the rotor screw at first it did not budge but the rotor was sort of wobbly and so I unscrewed first. I then put it back on again and used a hammer on my Allen key to tighten things up, praying nothing would break. And... it worked, no more UL code! Thank you so much, you saved me a lot of money!

Bolt was tight. Flywheel had just a tiny-tiny bit of jiggle. Removing the flywheel and cleaning it was the fix for me. There was some oily gunk causing it to get the uL code apparently.

I had replaced my shaft and bearings to fix this issue originally. After a year it started again and I thought the bearings were bad again. Nope! The bolt just worked itself loose and needed to be tightened down again. THANK YOU for this answer. Saved me from buying another shaft and bearing kit.

After many chants and rituals, while wearing the appropriate tribal African garb, I solved my washer UL error code with a strenuous, but effective method. I took my Haier washer to the highest mountain near my location (that happened to be an overpass overlooking a highway). I summoned the gods of gravity and asked that they release my washer from the effects of the Earth's pull. I then gently tilted my washer in the general direction of an area not affected by a surface. One small nudge and the resulting crashing sound stopped all UL errors. I hope this fix helps everyone.

My Bravos XL had ul code coming up with light and no clothes. I flipped it and checked the Allen key bolt and it was tight. I noticed it was very dirty under and on the bottom of the washer. I loosened the bolt and took the flywheel? off. I cleaned it all up with wd40 and paper towels, put it back together and it now works fine. Thanks for the info provided.

I checked that bolt on ours, and it was tight. Went ahead and removed the rotor and stator. Didn't see any cracks or damage. The position sensor also was in place and looked fine.

I'm thinking it has to be the control board.

Anyone get a fix on this problem

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

I was actually able to fix mine by bypassing the out of balance sensor. I didn't care about replacing it, since it's an older washer, anyway.

If that doesn't help, I refer you back to my previous suggestion of chants and rituals.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Hello. How did you bypass the balance sensor?

Wow, thank you for this fix! We had the unbalanced load and failure to complete spin cycle. We had already ordered a new washer on Christmas Eve but Lowe’s was unable to fulfill the order. Watched this video and my husband tightened that one bolt … voila! Now she’s working perfectly again! Canceled the new machine and saved a lot of money. THANK YOU!
