We don't answer questions via email, this is a forum, as someone else may be having the same issue and would probably like to see the answer to.

As for your answer, have you tried hooking the device up to your computer and wiping it in recovery mode?

There are plenty of ways to do this, either using the physical buttons on the phone in a certain pattern, or using Sonys software to erase the phone. :-)
