Why is my screen not turning on?

I accidentally hit my phone which was in my pocket with a pair if nunchucks and my screen is not cracked and the phone will work but the screen is just blank and I can get it to flask white but nothing else what's wrong with it?

Probably the LCD ribbon cable plug went loose and needs to be replugged.
