Why are brakes dragging after vacuum booster change

Vacuum line from manifold can collapse and cause brakes to overheat. GMC Sierra trucks have been recalled in the past to replace vacuum line.Where the line bends behind manifold. Also old rubber line will start getting soft with age and heat.
