We're not answering until you give us more details. It's not like we are gods who can see your console without you posting anything.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@agoni which LED? what do you see? what happens? You need to give us a lot more information.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

I want to start my xbox but it doesnt. As soon as I press the start buton the led in the battery instead of turning green it turns red. The same happens with the start button.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Battery?

Also what is the model of your Xbox? Does the fan spin when you turn it on?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

The model is Xbox 360 and the fan spins when I turn on but with red light

The three red lights on the Ring of Light indicate that a General Hardware Failure error occurred. This would be a "General Hardware Failure" Try this :"Check the secondary Error Code:

Try restarting the console.

If restarting the console does not resolve the behavior, follow these steps:

Turn the console off.

Unplug all the power and AV cables from the console.

Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.

Firmly reconnect all the cables.

Turn on the console.

If these steps do not resolve the behavior, turn the console off, remove the hard drive, and then turn on the console. If the 3x Red LED error light is no longer displayed, turn the console off, re-attach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.

Also examine the lights on the power supply. When you turn on the console, the power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the RoL flash red." from here. If this did not resolve anything, it is time to either fix it yourself with these guides and parts, or have the motherboard professional reballed. Even that may only be temporary since this error is most commonly related to the Flip Chip design (long story and sure you are not that interested in it;-)

What does that mean

Red light on the power brick indicates a power failure, most likely in the power supply itself.

Try replacing the power brick first.

However this is conflicting, the fan on the console should not spin when there is a power problem.

crwdns2944067:05crwdne2944067:0:

How can I replace the power brick @tomchai

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

You buy a new one and plug it in.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

So I should buy a new battery charger @tomchai

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

You should try, but there is no guarantee.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

We'll be hearing as soon as I buy a new PSU

crwdns2934285:0crwdne2934285:0

Can you give the Xbox diag code? Press and hold the sync button and click the eject button 4 times, noting how many lights come on. When it flashes 4 lights, that means 0. For example 4142 means 0102

crwdns2934105:0crwdne2934105:0

crwdns2889612:0crwdne2889612:0 1

crwdns2944067:04crwdne2944067:0:

3444 this is the diag code

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Are you sure? That doesn't seem to be a valid error code. When taking the diag codes, note the lights that blink really fast, not the regular flashing lights.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

This time is 4443 @gigabit87898

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@agoni According to xbox-experts.com, 4443 is cold solderjoint under cpu or power problem. link: https://xbox-experts.com/errorcode/E03/0...

crwdns2934285:0crwdne2934285:0

The problem could be an overheating issue or that your power supply could be knackered.

So is it hot to the touch?

If so, unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet and wait a few hours.

After that's done, plug it back in and see what it does.

crwdns2944067:08crwdne2944067:0:

I've done that but it's the same

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

It is not hot when I touch it. I have a long time without playing with it @adriano33

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Almost a year

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

3 leds that light up on the ring + red light on psu is mostly power related, which means that something is wrong .

Does the colour of the power led change if it's disconnected from the xbox itself?

Also try to reconnect the PSU to the comsole itself.

But if that doesn't do anything, then i'm afraid that you might need a new PSU.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

I've tried that but it's the same
