mower deck quits after 20-30 minutes of use

I have an '89 252-H, model# 2213KE02 & after I mow for 20 - 30 minutes the deck quits running

All belts & pulleys are new, it is a 42" rear discharge

The motor is a Kawasaki FB460v, which runs very strong

it's got me a bit stumped, I really don't want to replace parts that don't need replacing trying to figure this out.

how long do you need to wait before you can resume cutting

any chance the belts are slipping or have oil on them ? is this a recurring problem or just start. Is there a magnetic cluch to engage the mower or is it just a tensor system to engage the mower

I did some adjustment to the PTO clutch & so far it seems to be working ok, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps working lol
