white lines on screen then shuts off

we have 2 iconia one 7 tablets that were bought at same time , when you turn them on the Acer logo appears then after a few seconds these white lines appear on screen moving erractily from bottom to top then it shuts off. Have tried rebooting & other options with no success. Find it strange that both tablets developed same problem at same time. Any ideas Thx Hap
