Will it work with only 2 battery connections soldered on?

So basically while replacing the screen I broke the battery cable. I desoldered the flex cable and one of the solder points came off from the logic board. This is marked as 'TH', the + and - are still okay so I can solder onto them, so far I get a new battery will the iPod work with the battery only connected to 2 of the contacts?

@itzdanbarker most likely not since the battery and the iPod are "communicating" with each other. The battery provides more than just power. The iPod queries it regarding charge status, prevent overheating and over charging etc. So you will have to try to rebuild the solder pad.
