Ipad issue with restore issues, DFU mode wont restore.

My Ipad had the apple logo, it didnt show it was updating or anything, just had apple logo, so i press power and home button to reset now it doesnt boot. its just a black screen, so I was able to put it in DFU mode and Itunes sees it, i try to restore, but it keeps saying "Waiting for Ipad"

any ideas what could be wrong? and how I can go about fixing this?
