How would I fix a bent on/off button and volume button?

So I recently dropped my Samsung tablet on the floor from a couple of feet.

I saw that the on/off button and volume button were severely bent, and that was because the small part of the silver case - thing around the buttons was bent.

This wouldn't be a problem except that my tablet just lost all of it's battery, and I have no way to turn it back on.

So how could I fix that?

if just the button is bent then you mneed to replace the buttons. fairly inexpensive. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=sam...

My tablet turns on, works perfectly for a while, then at a random time shuts down (anything from a minute to half an hour or more). I think there is a fault in the on/off button but am not confident to try and repair it. Is this costly? And if I am wrong is it worth pursuing? It is an excellent machine.
