Does your car have enough coolant? Your car could be overheating. You can use water in the summer but you need to use coolant in the winter because the water will freeze

Are you running the air conditioner when this happens?

Sometimes I have the air conditioning running and sometimes I don't. If the temperature outside is over 83 degrees F then my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan will just quit. I usually have to wait 3-4 hours for it to cool down enough to be able to drive again. I have already had thr fuel pimp replaced and the code that has just started coming up says fuel rail 1 too lean. Mechanics refuse to even listen to me telling them it's a vapor lock. They say with high pressure fuel pumps now that can't happen. Well, it's happening and I need a fix because I can't afford to be without my van all summer or buy something new.
