How to repair if Radio Reciever burns out?

The WiFi would freeze when showing it was turning off which started causing phone to turn off & back on by itself but would freeze on reboot. Had it reformatted, but still keeps shutting off & on after about 10 minutes. Stays on Airplane mode so cant make calls. Was told was from wireless radio/receiver was burnt out. Is this difficult to fix? What would need to be done?

I believe this transmitter is part of the main board and is not user-replaceable. You may need to replace the whole mother/LogicBoard.

Then wouldn't that actually be easier?I am getting different explanations from people.*it's the software that was used to flash it, *Its a hardware issue,*no, it's a software issue that whoever flashed it should be able to fix it *or we can do for $120,*we have "special droid flash software" that will correct all of that". This is worse then a crossroad. I have no idea which direction I should follow??
