Are all other tones/sound working on your phone? Have you tried changing the ring tone in your settings? Does the tone work for text messages or calls or neither? Let us know what you've already tried so we can offer more help.

I have tried everything, call can not be received. all calls go straight to voice mail

Have you checked the Voice Call settings. Go to Menu > Call > Settings >Voice Call settings
