Why does my watch suddenly lose all battery life?

I have had my watch for two months. This week, on three separate occasions, my watch has been charged to 100%, and within a day is completely dead. I have not made any setting changes, and I don't appear to be rapidly draining the battery. When I looked at the battery life about an hour ago, I was at 93%. Now, it's dead. Is this a defective watch?
