I joined the bring your own phone plan through straighttalk and switched my old number to this phone yesterday it has been activated but has absolutely no service with an x over t he bars I've walked down the road even to see if it would work and when I try to make a call it says no Mobil network detected says nothing about the sim card...the SIM card u have goes in slot one. Help!

Call the company you switch to and ask them did they activate the sim card and when you can use it.
