windshield wiper motor not parking in right position

while driving my driver side wiper quit working. It turned out to be the linkage under the cowl. I replaced the linkage, but now the wipers park in the middle of windshield. any suggestions?

In my experience an s depending on the car make and model, you may be able to adjust the wiper arm by removing it and then repositioning the arm to the correct "stop" position.
