I have Garmin Nuvi 265W with loose mini USB, and battery is already no good. Is there I can purchase a new battery and mini USB port (I know soldering)?

As for the mini USB connector, you may have to remove it first to see if there is some securing lug differences to a normal mini USB and then try Ebay where there are plenty of options. Here is a link

I have one and it doesn't hold a charge long. I replaced it with a $70 Android phone (Blu Dash X) and like the GPS a lot better. I use the Here free app which can run offline or go online and get traffic updates. Worldwide maps are free. I bought a car holder for $10 which has a charger in it. No use paying Garmin for maps. The age of the dedicated GPS is over.
