Why is the camera picture screen pink and blurred?

Hi,

I've noticed when switching on my Olympus 850SW the menu all appears fine, but when it comes to taking a picture the camera picture shows pink and blurry, when taking the picture it stays pink, blurred and darkens up even more. It makes it impossible to take pictures and the camera is not usable - does anyone have any advice?
