The March 2015 update of Apple's 13" MacBook Pro Retina Display, model A1502, features fifth-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and introduces the Force Touch trackpad.

Where are the power pads to short it on?

I’m looking for the pads to touch to short it on to check to see if my keyboard is broken.

David Molinari you can do this by either shortening pin 5 of the keyboard connector briefly to ground. You can also use the debug pads as pointed out.

Hey! When I short the two pads it turns on but the fan goes on at full speed and doesn't stop. Where is keyboard connector 5 by the way? Thanks in advanced!

Hi, thank you so much!!!! I've been searching these power-on pads for so long...

I "only" have to replace the keyboard now.
