boots then shuts down and powers off

I have the same problem with my tablet. There's a permanent solution and a temporary solution; the temporary solution is to unplug the screen via the ribbon cable while it charges for a while, then plug it back in. The permanent solution is to get a new battery. What's happening is the screen uses too much battery before you can do anything, which usually means you need a new battery.
