Gyro function? Will not count steps in any app.
Is there a way to fix the gyro if it fails...my steps will not count on any app

Have you tried calibrating the Gyroscope?
To calibrate the Gyroscope on Samsung Galaxy devices do as follows:
1. Open the Setting App
2. Find Motion and tap on it
3. Scroll down the menu and tap on Sensitivity Setting
4. Open Gyroscope calibration
5. Place device on a level surface and tap Calibrate
