Why can I use my headphones?

I have a problem on my Huawei Ascend Mate 2 MT2-L03 about the headphone jack. Everytime I put the headphones in the headphone jack on the phone, it keeps cutting in & out. I think it is damaged. Is there a way of putting a new one in for myself?

Well, there is. However, it still a pretty big job. You pretty much have to take the whole phone apart. I believe it's a socket connector, holding it in. Which would make it easier. But still, you have to take a bunch of things off it first
