no screen or hard drive activity on Asus x202E

battery is fully charged, system failed originally when battery level putunit in hybernate.

Since that time after a re-chage, the system shows power up but no hard disk activity or sceen illumination. this unit is practically new.. the batttery status led indicates full charge.
