Logic board - does it matter which one?

I have a nonworking IPad 3, 1416... which is listed as 16,32, 64 gb...

mine is a 16. Could I replace it with the 64 logic board?

Presently, it doesn't work - that's why I want to replace it. You're saying that the storage isn't relevant to the working...just the id? So, since I bought it online, do I care about that?

It's like Frankensteins monster. New transplanted brain. The body remembers nothing.

I "THINK" yes because your 16Gb Logic Board have all the informations about your iPad (Serial Number,IMEI...etc) If you change the logic board no matter with storage because it will change your iPad entirely ! It will be another iPad with other identification...
