My xbox 360 turns on to the home screen if i push the power button, but the green light isn't going on and the controllers aren't syncing to the system. They turn on but don't sync to the system.

You have to go and find a small button on the console which has two arrows that is to sync. Now find it on your controller and press the button at the same time. Then it should sync. But if your console is not turning on maybe youn have overheated it or maybe some wires are out.

Might not be the same issue but I have a good controller that wasn’t connecting to a 360 and the issue for me was the little board on the front of the console with the power button on it. Pretty easy to take apart and get at, you can buy the boards for like $4 to $5 used.

I’ve had my 360 for a while but when I moved I put it in storage for about a year ( in a padded bag inside my new home) recently I took it out and tried to play some games that aren’t backwards compatible for the Xbox one S I have. The 360 console and controllers all worked before I moved but now the 3 controllers I have all do the same thing, they will turn on the console and brings up the profile screen but the controllers rings will steadily go around in a circle and when I sync to the console it says it synced but they actually don’t and the controller goes back to the rotating green ring and the console ring goes away. Bought another controllers think mine were just shot but nope same problem. Please help I do like my little 360 slim and want to use in my bedroom and keep the Xbox one in the family room

Apologies I thought it was an Xbox One you had. For the 360 you can only format the drive. Can you use the controllers if you plug in the charge cable?

no clue, the light for the power doesnt come on and the controllers dont work even if they are plugged in but the power lights come on but stay rotating like they do when they are trying to sync

I have exactly same problem I had mines for 4 months 360 crap were u ever able to find fix
