Loud fans and extremely slow MacBook Pro after display replacement
Hi,
My screen was failing and eventually it died. Few days ago I replaced it with a new one. Although new screen works great, my macbook runs extremely slow and fans are loud right from the start. Did anyone have similar issue? I read somewhere that thermal sensor can get an error and slow the cpu on purpose.. I apple store they told me that they would have to send it out for a hardware repair. Since my new screen works i was told it must be another component (perhaps logic board) but on the other side my laptop worked fine on external monitor. If anyone had similar issue and knows a different ways to trouble shoot it I will appreciate any feedback.
thanks
Update (11/11/2015)
I was able to clarify and narrow down my original question. This cable from my new display causes my macbook pro mid 2012 run extremely slow and i get loud fans right at the loading screen. With it being unplugged works just fine. Any feedback as to what can I do besides trying to return display? I assume its camera cable since Skype and Photo Booth says no camera connection. Is it responsible for anything else?
ps..if it helps, if I plug that cable on the old screen it works well too. So its not my laptop but rather new display's.

Guys,
Good news! ..and some bad too. The good news is, I found the issue! After testing old screen against new and checking all connections I narrowed it down to the (I believe its camera cable). Its the one that tied in with three tiny cables at the left fan. When its unplugged everything works great. New display works great and computer runs smooth as it used to. With that cable being unplugged, I also lost the camera. Both Skype and Photo Booth says there is no camera connected, that how I figure its camera connection. Is this cable responsible for more than just a camera? Cause if I get partial refund on display might as well live with this. Not a big deal i guess, since I never used it besides Skype..But do you know anything about this? Could this be something that may be resolved in OS?....Any feedback on this? Thanks in advance!!

Please clarify. The cables do not work on either display? Please separate your results on each display. Also please verify your exact machine by giving us the last four figures of your serial number.

update: just tried few things. with camera cable being plugged in - fans are full speed and Macs Fan Controls seem unable to take control of fans saying that sensors working incorrectly. Also, I launched photo booth and the camera on new display actually works. So its just causing my laptops sensors to act weird on me. Hopefully this info helps a bit.

Yaro, you saved my MBP, as mine was behaving extremely slow with fans at maximum, then unplugged the isight camera and all came back to normal. I was completely lost until I found this post. Thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!
