My NVIDIA G card sentinel shows I have power issue

"To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations."

this was shown when i turn on my PC today. tried reconnecting all the cables but still fail to fix it.

is it about my power supply box problem?

I am guessing your power supply doesn't have enough power for the fan on the video card. You may need a power supply upgrade. To be on the safe side if it used to work try cleaning the graphics card for maximum cooling. If the card is clean I would try a power supply first (less expensive). If the cleaning and power supply replacement don't do it you may have problems with the graphics card but that would be the last thing I replaced. Ralph
