My xbox s turns off

Over the past 2 weeks my xbox turns off in the middle of a game but the brick light dosent go red... Any suggestions

I placed it on my coffee table to cool it down but I'd say after a 30 mins it shut off.. Should I let it cool completely then turn it back on

Make sure you have good air flow to your X Box, I had some mail cover the intake side of the xbox and it did the same thing.. I let it cool and removed the paper. It works fine!

Have it cleaned, this rids dust bunnys, ect. and helps with air flow. A cheep way to do this is to use the hose on your vacume to suck the crap out of your x box. Its not going to super clean but its cheep. I use ice packs wraped in a towel under my x box if im gaming hard core for hours.
