1 No volume on my 3ds xl... any way to fix this?
There is no damage or water damage to the 3ds xl console that I have(unless i am unaware of it). Both screens are fine. Its in great condition and everything works properly except no sound. I tried restarting it... Nothing. Tried restoring it... Nothing. I dont know what to do and i really dont have the money to get a new one. And to have nintenso repair it is $95. Any suggestions ??

Have you tried listening with headphones? Also have you ensured that the volume control switch is not switched OFF?

Yes the volume control is at its max. Tried turning the system off with no volume and turning it back on then increasing the volume slowly with the volume switch on the side. Didnt make a difference. Also i have tried it with a working pair of headphone and that did not work either

Googling the problem reveals the Nintendo 3ds notorious for having "no volume" problems - usually related to the motherboard.
Wonder if it's worthwhile following the volume switch replacement guide. It may be a faulty switch or even a short circuit headphone socket. Nintendo 3DS Volume Switch Replacement
Or maybe buy replacement motherboard (replacement guide also on Fixit) Google search found boards for about $US50
