Can I use a different USB charger to charge my Dino?

I lost my USB charging cord for my Dino. Can I use a different charger, such as my phone charger, to charge him?

The mini USB charging cord that comes with your Zoomer Dino Boomer is made specifically for his rechargeable battery. It is not recommended to try to charge him with a different cord, or to use his cord to charge other devices. Thé question was not about the USB cable but about the USB charger type

When applying 5 V from the USB computer port or from any 5V charger the actual voltage applied to the battery is 4.2 V which is the right one to charge a 3.7 V battery. As there are only 2 wires attached to the battery there are no data sent to the central board from the battery unless voltage. Any simple 5 V charger can be used
