Replace digitizer or lcd or both

I have a sony z2 with a cracked screen. The lcd display works but not the digitizer. Would it be easy to just replace the digitizer or the whole lcd as well?

Change the whole LCD with digitizer assembly is more easier. Here is a blog showing how to replace Z2 LCD, hope it does help. http://www.witrigs.com/blog/how-to-chang...

To replace the whole screen is more easier. The whole screen includes the glass, digitizer and LCD screen, all of them are bonded together tightly by the help of very strong adhesive, and it is very hard to separate neither of them for individuals. Though it is possible to remove the digitizer from the LCD, as long as you have special tools as well as professional skill. Otherwise, it is better to replace the whole assembly rather than just the digitizer.
