it only shows 13% charged even when fully charged.

I got this tablet Christmas 2014. After a month it only shows 13 % battery life no matter how full or empty the battery is. Looking online this is a very common problem with the B1-730 and B1-730HD. Its obviously a software problem. Has acer accepted its a problem yet and if so what are they doing about it? Is there a download to fix it yet?
