How much are my fellow repair shops charging for a 6 screen replacement? I'm getting the screens for $63.5 and would like to charge $110 but isn't apple doing the repair for $109.

It all depends on where you are, if you are in a area with no apple store near by you can charge more. Something else to keep in mind is apple doesnt swap out cracked LCD, on top of that if they phone is bend or dented in anyway they will not swap it out either. so you can charge more for those.

I match apples price for the 6 ($109) and the 6 plus ($129). Ive never heard of apple not replacing the screen if the LCD is cracked, I can't verify if that is correct or not but I will agree with Sunny they are extremely picky about the housings being bent and will deny the $109 repair price and try to charge the customers $299 for a replacement phone.

If you charge $129 for the plus same price as Apple how much are you getting the replacement screen for? My supplier wanted $112 for the white plus. And does apple charge tax on top of that $109 or $129?

I think this question is evident of a bigger question of how to base your prices in general. If you've got this much delima over the price of your iphone 6 repair, I suppose you don't have a model you're basing prices on overall? Shooting from the hip and making it up as you go is not a practice anyone would advise. I'd do some research and study to build your general "rules" for your prices across the board, not just for this repair.

What is the % of this repair coming back for warranty work?
What is your warranty and how does that factor in?
What are your competitors pricing it at?
How are you different than the competitors?

I try to base the pricing of all my iPhone repairs with a $50 profit. The problem is the iPhone 6 parts are still up there in price and I would charge $50 labor on top of that but I have to be the same price or better then Apple to get the business

Techy Girl that's good prices. I'm paying $57 and $88. Yeah I usually put the cracked screens up on a eBay auction. My supplier also told me there is a massive shortage on 5/5C/5S screens and he had to raise the price up $3 more dollars

I just talked to my supplier and the price of the 6 plus just came down to $88 so charging $130 is doable

Yes apple charges tax on top of the $109 and the $129, we are currently getting GRADE A/High Quality 6 screens for $55 and 6 plus for $80. Keep in mind, you can sell the customers old broken screens. If the LCD & digitizer are still good. I have a local guy that buys the 6 for $20 and the 6plus for $30.

well an fyi most shops charge 59$ starting with the iphone 6 model and thats with the replacement screen and labor.
