I was told that I need to disassemble one side of these headphones, in order to slide the new headband cushion on. I'm not quite sure how to go about doing this. Any help or instructions would be helpful.

I ordered a zipper cover that goes over the damaged one. That is all I think you can do. I got it on Amazon, and it should be here in a few days. The problem I had with my headset was that the padding on both the head band and the earmuffs became very sticky. I ordered new muffs too.

so much for bose . paying hundreds of dollars for headphones and few years down the track they melt , become sticky and no replacement parts.
time for bose to improve on their products quality. i own a pair of pioneer headphones since 1978 and they look like new

Any answer, please? I was told by a Bose representative that headband for Bose OE2 headphose are not replaceable. I think this is not right.
