larry, "see the menu but very faint i also can see the glow" means your backlight is out. This could be a PSU issue for simply not supplying enough power to your backlight. The next possibility could be the LED driver board itself. I'd check for any bad/broken caps and bad solder joints. If not results with that I'd replace the board.
