Losing memory changing screen?

I am planning on changing the screen on the PSP Go I have. My question is I got this on eBay and it's loaded with Super NES games and Genesis games along with some PSP GO games. Is there any risk of losing the data if I change the screen when I disconnect the battery? I can't save the stuff to a memory card, so I won't bother if there is any risk of losing data. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
