Water damaged SIM card reader not working

I cleaned mine with alcohol and all of it works except the sim card reader and I'm not sure what to do about that

Mine was put in the dog bowl and my son told me 5 or 10 minutes after it had been in the water, first I removed the battery and the back cover and dried it off then put the back cover back on and put it in rice for 48 hours I tried to turn it back on but nothing so I seen on YouTube to soak each piece in alcohol and softly and gently dry them so I did and left it for 24 hours when I put the battery in and magically it came back on but I have yet to get the sim card port to read my sim card!!!!! Any ideas??????
