it lay in little water for a couple mins.

do not turn it on pull the batteries out and take your vacuum and try to suck out as much moisture as you can. sounds dumb but it helps. If you have silica gel bury the camera in it and leave it there for a week or more. If you don't have silica try uncooked rice or stick it in a bag of kitty litter this should help draw the moisture out of the camera. the longer the better You may want to cover the lens so it doesn't get scratched.you can also try setting it in front of a fan to try drying it out, a hair dryer on a low heat setting to much heat can cause soldered joints to fail. the important thing is to not turn it on till its dry and once its dry clean off the battery connectors in the camera.Hope this helps and good luck
