Console does not output video when left plugged in

Console does not output video when left plugged in

My system will work fine if I leave it unplugged when not in use. However, if I leave it plugged in for a day or so, it will no longer output video when I turn it on. I have to leave it unplugged for a bit before it will work again. Any ideas on how to fix this?
