After replacing the front panel, some shimmery residue on LCD

I followed the excellent guide for replacing the front panel, but see, now that's its all back together and working, that there is some shimmery residue on the LCD. Is there anyway to try and correct that without tearing it down again?

Nope you would have to remove the digitizer sounds like there's left over glass from removing the old digitizer
