ac output voltage of the power adapter for rc2012

hi, i do understand that the power adapter for the rc2012 is a step down transformer. What happened was somebody plugged in the 120v ac adapter into a 220v ac outlet, and blew the power supply. Trying to find out the specific ac voltage output of the adapter, The only info that i have is whats labeled on the adapter which is 120v AC~60Hz w/ a power consumption of 3 Watts. I'm trying to look for a 220v ac adapter but i need to know how many volts is required to run the radio alarm clock. I guess it would be between 9 or 12 Volts AC?
